Intro to Sewing: Learn to Use a Sewing Machine (Saturdays 2-4pm) spring

$96.00

2-Part Workshop

DATES: 3/22 & 3/29

Class Description:

For those interested in learning to sew or wanting to build up their skillset to more advanced sewing, this session will build confidence using the sewing machine, how to sew straighter lines, and produce a high-quality final product.

Teacher Info:

Emily Hermann is an after-hours fiber artist. She has been sewing for 4 years and dabbles in knitting, print-making, ceramics, embroidery, poetry writing, and drawing. Sewing remains her favorite form of creative expression. It feels both magical and satisfying to transform flat fabric into a beautiful and functional 3-D creation, while trouble shooting any challenges that arise during the project. Emily began with thrift flips, upcycling, and altering clothes, and has recently embarked on drafting her own sewing designs. She is excited to share what she has learned through this sewing class!
