Intro to Flower Drawing and Oil Flower Painting (6-8pm)

Class Description:
This class is ideal for beginners and those who would like a refresher course. All levels of artist will gain a better understanding of drawing their flowers from observation. The demonstrations and exercises will be used to sharpen perspective. The medium the students are to use are pencils and oil paints for this class. Students will learn about color mixing color palettes and how to choose the right colors to create a harmonious and vibrant floral composition. Also understanding contrasting hues for enhancing the flowers natural beauty. This class is a great place for beginners. Supplies are needed to be purchased for this course.

Teacher Info:
Nina Gary is an oil painter and visual artist whose work is influenced by Van Gogh and Matisse. She studied Fine Arts and Art History at Delaware County Community College, where she earned her AFA in 2017. Nina specializes in flower painting and drawing, watercolor, etching and pencil drawing. She creates artwork because she believes art is an excellent form of self-healing and self-expression, and that art plays an essential role in making the world a happier place. Nina views art as a powerful means of communication, bridging culturally diverse communities around the world and offering a voice for individuality and self expression. In her spare time, Nina enjoys educating, and producing various art projects and creative content.
