- Learn about different fabrics and how they affect final products
- Learn to change sewing machine feet and needles
- Learn to put in a zipper (as needed)

Teacher Info:
Emily Hermann is an after-hours fiber artist. She has been sewing for 4 years and dabbles in knitting, print-making, ceramics, embroidery, poetry writing, and drawing. Sewing remains her favorite form of creative expression. It feels both magical and satisfying to transform flat fabric into a beautiful and functional 3-D creation, while trouble shooting any challenges that arise during the project. Emily began with thrift flips, upcycling, and altering clothes, and has recently embarked on drafting her own sewing designs. She is excited to share what she has learned through this sewing class!
