Intro to Crochet: Ornaments (Fridays 4-6pm)

Class Description:
Make your own ornaments for the holidays!! Learn how to crochet and hand sew as you create homemade decorative ornaments for the holiday season. Students ranging from beginner to intermediate levels will learn crochet stitching and basic hand-sewing to create their own one-of-a-kind ornaments.

Elena Gans-Pfister is a fiber sculptor and installation-based artist. EG-P’s artwork is informed by micro and marine biology, with liking the concept of taking the micro and blowing it up to the macro. Gans-Pfister was raised learning a variety of hand-fiber processes, which include, but are not limited to: cross-stitching, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and much more. These are the tools used to create EG-P’s bold and expressive work.
