Teacher Info:
As a self-taught photographer and filmmaker from Philadelphia, my journey into the world of photography and filmmaking has been shaped by the invaluable resources of online and the support of the creative community around me. My work is deeply rooted in the exploration of the Black experience, with a particular focus on lifestyle photography that captures the essence of "Black Aiightness." This term encapsulates my desire to portray Black individuals in a light that resonates with the everyday person—neither excessively helpless nor extravagantly wealthy, but authentically relatable.
