Intro to Crochet: Jewelry (Wednesdays 6-8pm)

Class Description:
Learn crochet and basic sewing techniques with some beading to create a jewelry set. Students ranging from beginner to intermediate levels will learn crochet stitches, basic hand-sewing, and some beading to create their own one-of-a-kind jewelry set; a necklace, bracelet, and ring.

Elena Gans-Pfister is a fiber sculptor and installation-based artist. EG-P’s artwork is informed by micro and marine biology, with liking the concept of taking the micro and blowing it up to the macro. Gans-Pfister was raised learning a variety of hand-fiber processes, which include, but are not limited to: cross-stitching, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and much more.
